Rong Xi's dream~~~~~

Guys....My dream in detail a few weeks ago. Just for fun, nothing to scrutinise about...just sharing the dream in which I can remember really vividly. Extracted from my blog...(ask me for the address if you still don't know what it is!)

1. I was in Baylor University. Although I never been there, but there I was in the auditorium. My hand held a Bible. Was Mark Song there? It could have been him. The walls were beige. There was a garden outside the building. Could this mean that I'm going to study there? No. Decisions cannot be based on a dream. I had a dream that I went to HKU a few months ago.

2. I saw my grandparent's shrine. Someone was melting the Buddha, and the gold was used to built the temple of God? My grandma just sat there, not reacting. So was my cousin. The temple of God was shaped like a pyramid but without the capstone. Sort of like the mayan pyramids. But in gold.

3. My brother's limbs was all tied in strings. He was suffering from something. Or ensnared. I woke up then. I didn't know what happened, I prayed immediately. Actually I had a dream of XX dying from his back pain quite a while ago. Nothing happened to him so far.

I sat at my room, praying, trying to get to sleep. Maybe I did. I mean, I couldn't stay completely awake until 4 plus right? But the heat seared the room and the mosquitoes pierced me that I must have woke up in short intervals. I switched on the air con. Actually I felt fear. I heard some tyres screeching in the middle of the night. It was around 2am. [I actually thought that someone was in the room. Someone wearing a black cloak, hiding in a corner] Then it was around before I switched on the aircon. I looked outside the window. A bright crescent moon radiated the night. My scriptures in my head helped me overcome the fear. I slept again. I dreamt stranger dreams yet.

4. I went to China. I actually explained to my parents about me dreaming about my brother. They said that nothing happened. I was at my 2nd old house in fact, doing something. I also asked about the shrine dream. No reaction. I'm sure there were more to the dream but I can't really remember. I remember that water is part of an event in this dream. [Think it a hot spring pool?]

5. I was in the army. There were some girls from 20SA coming to my camp learning about the Firegate. They were pretty young, more of NCC, wearing PT kit. I didn't know what happened. Come to think of it it wasn't exactly a camp. It was just a building, like a hotel. There were some Big shots around. Then I ran to Sam Wen Liang's FH BCP and asked him about it. It was open air. The sky was dim. I was in my specs admin. He said something like they were learning about something. Sam's mouth looked purple. Daniel was in the same BCP, wearing PT kit. We shook hands or something like that.

2 parts of a dream that I didn't remember where to fit them in.

6. I was on top of an OUV/5 tonner. I remember the OUV bracket on the roof but the height was that of a tonner. I was not wearing a helmet. I saw a bunch of people wearing red t-shirts. Then I asked around. NDP was around the corner. But today I went to church and my buddies and I were all coincidentally wearing red. Hmm. Uncanny.

7. I was in NZ. The 3 signals musketeers and I were together in a restaurant. 2nd floor of restaurant in fact. The walls were blue, the fan was wooden, together with the furniture. It was as cosy as someone's house, except I didn't know whose. The place was cramped. We talked about something. It was a cold day. I think I treated them. Then we parted. Odd.

Theme Verse

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (New International Version)

24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

26Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.

27No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Theme Song Candidates

Hey all, here are the theme song "candidates":

Dare to Run (recommended by Wenyi):

(i can't embed here cuz embedding is disabled by request.)

Dare to Run
The assembly of the faithful surrounding yet unseen
Is gathered as a witness to the race
And on the track awaiting are runners of today
The call has come for each to take his place.

The road ahead is narrow,
The way is sometimes steep.
And only the committed claim the prize.

But standing at the finish,
With arms outstretched to greet us
Is the one who has endured the race
And paid the final price.

Dare to run, with our eyes fixed on Jesus
Following the footsteps of the One who’s gone before us
Dare to run in the power of His spirit
Called to be victors in the race already run
Dare to run

We must have our Savior’s vision
Compassion for the lost
Courage for the future
Love at any cost

Dare to run, with our eyes fixed on Jesus
Following the footsteps of the One who’s gone before us
Dare to run in the power of His spirit
Called to be victors in the race already run
Dare to run

Find us Faithful by Steve Green (recommended by Ronald)

We're pilgrims on the journey
Of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way
Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary
Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who've gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
The heritage of faithfulness
Passed on through godly lives

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone
And our children sift through all we've left behind
May the clues that they discover
And the memories they uncover
Become the light that leads them
To the road we each must find

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

I'll continue to upload "candidates" here when I receive them. Please check your emails on how to blog on this page too!
